Episode 79

01/18/2011

Craig talks a little about Martin Luther King Day, and shares a recent “only in New York” story. Then, Mike Weiss swings by to talk about his experiences in both stand-up and improv comedy, including the pros-and-cons of being part of a father/daughter improv duo, and the struggles of getting your foot in the door of the comedy business.

NOTE: I record a lot of these interviews a week or two ahead of time, and I forgot to go back and edit out a part where Mike plugs a gig that took place last Friday. My apologies to Mike and to any of you who feel your life is incomplete for having missed that show. I’ll have that fixed by tomorrow. – C.M.
